People ask me what I do and I tell them I am “a creative”. Many look at me like I have a strange appendage on my face, others smile knowingly. That is the group I want to spend time with. I only just heard of this because I have been in my own cocoon of ideas and musings for far to long. I attended the and Creative Cities Summit, and the un-conference this past Saturday at the Carnegie Center and pledged publicly there and then to start sharing my ideas instead of hoarding them. I am trying to reach out to others and create something cooperatively. My mission statement is to
“positively impact the potential of our world”

Whether it is my idea, or someone else’s, I get stoked by the interaction, the potential, the path, the zen of it all. As I said at the “un-conference” I have at least a gross of ideas to share, but that doesn’t mean I want to attend to dominate, rather I am finding that seeing others who are doing great things for our world brings me that much closer to realizing my potential for the world as well.
